Middlesbrough Mela is one of the largest multicultural events in the North East. Held in Albert Park, the free annual two-day festival brings communities together to enjoy diverse music including hip hop and Bhangra, street theatre, cuisines from around the world, fashion at the event’s renowned bazaar market and a range of activities for families. The event attracts tens of thousands of visitors from across the region and beyond, with audiences of over 50,000 in attendance across the two days.
