Anna Byrne | Project Director
Anna moved to the Tees Valley in 2016 with her partner, Liam Slevin, and founded The Auxiliary and Middlesbrough Art Week.
Under her guidance, The Auxiliary purchased its premises and underwent a £1.3m refurbishment, whilst also becoming an NPO. Anna is currently on a secondment to Creative Factory.

Claire Harrison | Director
Claire is a multi-disciplinary visual artist and founding member of Wild Vision Collective, a female-led artists collective.
Having more than 25 years experience of working in mental health and addictions in the community and criminal justice system, Claire brings a wealth of experience of working with a diverse range of communities and people.

Susan Robertson | Director
Susan has had a long career in the creative sector in the Tees Valley.
Currently the manager of Tees Valley Music Service, she is passionate about creating accessible opportunities for children and young people across the region.
With an initial investment of Levelling Up Partnership (LUP) funding from Middlesbrough Council, Creative Factory is working alongside key stakeholders including Tees Valley Combined Authority, Teesside University, Ethical Housing, and Middlesbrough Council to secure long-term infrastructure for artists and creatives.
