Pineapple Black
Pineapple Black is an artist-led contemporary art space based in a former retail unit in Middlesbrough’s Hill Street Centre. Run by local artists and curators Bobby Benjamin and Stephen Irving, the space showcases local, national and international talent through a regular programme of exhibitions. In addition to curated shows, Pineapple Black supports emerging creatives and collectives by offering space for one-off and pop-up events, ranging from performances and film shoots to workshops and community activity.
