Unit 41
Working with East Street Arts, Creative Factory have taken over this meanwhile space on a 2 year licence. This space is set over two floors. With its huge windows and white cube space, as well as studio space upstairs, it was too good to turn down.
In January 2025, Unit 41 opened its doors and is home to Industrial Coast: an independent experimental label, distributor and event promoter based in Middlesbrough. Since it’s opening it’s hosted a packed programme of exhibitions including A Monday Night in Middlesbrough by Rachel Deakin, Coping from internationally renowned artist Richie Culver, group show Often Seen but Overlooked curated by local artist C-Dyer including a single night event from The Werd Collective.
